Colorado Springs Saxophone Lessons

About Kevin Ford

Hello! I just moved to the Colorado Springs area in the summer of 2026, and I am so excited to become a member of this community.  I am entering into my 15th year of teaching saxophone professionally with the bulk of my experience being in Texas. My students have performed well across the board with multiple students achieving success at region and state level competitions. I even have coached a number of saxophone quartets, with one of them performing at Midwest at 2025, qualifying for the quarter finals at Fischoff Competition, and earning 2nd place at the Coltman Chamber Competition.

I have worked with all kinds of skill levels with my students ranging from middle school, high school, college, and adult age students, so all are welcome. I believe that music is a unique chance to express ourselves and to connect with one another in a meaningful way, so I cannot wait to share that experience with you! When I am not teaching or performing, I am spending time with my beautiful wife Aubrey, our two dogs Dexter and Taika, and our cat Georgie.
